One day to go!

Really excited about going out to Matlosane tomorrow and all we have to give and receive.

Two days to go

The Sunday School Training Team will be leaving Lichfield for Matlosane in just two days time. Final preparations are being made by team members. The conference programme is being printed and sessions prepared. We are hopeful that we will be able to spend some time in the local schools too.

Fundraising Walk to Wales

On Saturday Sarah, along with her husband Jonny, completed their 45 mile walk from Wolverhampton to Wales in order to raise funds towards the trip in April. Here's a very relieved Sarah just after crossing the border into Wales!

Sunday School Trip Planning Meeting

An excellent planning meeting yesterday. Lots of good ideas with conference programme finalised and sessions and tasks allocated between the team members. Fun and laughter too. Fundraising going really well.

In case you are wondering, the team consists of Sarah Bennett, Marcus Brookfield, Chris and Chenda Nuttall, Val Plant, Cheryl Powell, Catherine Stephens, Jo Williams, and Sarah Witcombe.

Fundraising Walk

Chris and Marcus successfully completed the 17 mile walk from Chris' home in Stafford to Lichfield Cathedral yesterday to raise funds for the Sunday School trip and conference in April. Here they are arriving at the Cathedral.

Sunday School Conference April 2015

So here are the team who are going out to Matlosane in April 2015 to lead the next Sunday School Conference. We had a good planning meeting last week and are looking forward to sharing with our friends in Matlosane.
